The Diego de Hendriquez Museum presents a rich collection of the citizen of Trieste/Trst who, for long years, diligently collected most diverse materials (uniforms, ship models, medical material, archival documents, iconography, etc.) related to the history of Trieste. These are amazing exhibits, including even heavy military equipment, vehicles and other World War I documents that have survived in very good state of preservation. The collection is upgraded with the presentation of the history of Trieste.
From the Trieste/Trst–Udine–Slovenia motorway, take the Cattinara exit. The Diego de Henriquez Museum is located close to the Hippodrome on the outskirts of Trieste.
