Mt. Ermada/Grmada
For some this was the Verdun of the Isonzo Front. Attempts to conquer the hill required the mobilization of several units between the brook of Timavo and Vallone di Brestovizza/Brestoviški dol, making them unavailable for the offensive on other parts of the front.
You can visit two sectors:
– Mt. Ermada/Grmada: starting point in the village of Ceroglie/Cerovlje (ca. 3 hours)
– Monte Cocco: starting point in the village of Medeazza/Medja vas (ca. 3 hours)
Price:
125 € for groups up to 30 people
145 € for groups of 30 to 50 people
A surcharge of 100 € is paid for groups of more than 50 people (for each 50 people more)
Prices can change during the year.
Reservation is required one week in advance.
Guided tours are available in Italian, English and German language.
