Costa Curnic rises above the left bank of the Fella River. Four 75-mm guns were emplaced here to support the Chiusaforte fort. Today, only the platforms of these positions are preserved, on which the guns were emplaced. Military remains can also be seen near Stavoli Curnic, where a path leads past military positions, pillboxes and remains of cabins.
If you are coming from Udine or Tarvisio/Trbiž/Tarvis, take the SS13 state road. When you reach Chiusaforte, continue towards Sella Nevea (provincial road SP76). Park your car in Raccolana and continue on foot to the bridge over the stream of the same name. After a few metres, the CAI 632 footpath starts on the right.
