The Exhibition Hall of Military Historical Relics (Sala esposizione di Cimeli Storici Militari) is housed in the so-called House of the Three Hundred (Casa del Trecento) in San Daniele del Friuli. There used to be a pawnshop here but nowadays, it is the seat of the alpini association (Associazione Nazionale Alpini – ANA).
Items from different periods of military history are exhibited on three floors. Presented through numerous documents, posters, postcards, etc. is the history of the alpini and of Austrian divisions. Displayed as well are funeral objects used by the alpini, firearms and ammunition from World War I & II, uniforms of soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers from different periods, various banners, etc.
The exhibition hall, housed in the Casa del Trecento, is located in the historical centre of San Daniele del Friuli, on the right side of the road with regard to the cathedral and the loggia of the Guarneriana Library.
