Villa Bartolomei is a Late Baroque countryside mansion, situated in Solkan, next to the administrative building of Goriški muzej Museum. The villa houses a permanent exhibition “Preserve the Past, Stop Time for Today and Tomorrow” which gets the visitor acquainted with the activity of conservator-restorers with the help of digital technology. The remaining exhibition area of the villa is intended for visiting and temporary exhibitions by the Goriški muzej Museum.
